Wish Me The Best Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Wish Me The Best

Rating: 4.5

Wish me the best
I am going to live long
I will love you
Like a cuckoo loves its song

When it is spring
Sitting amidst thick foliage
It sings about love
At flowers blooming in a rage

Wish me the best
For now I am going meet her
In the undulating dale
Or in the cool sands of the river

The cuckoo will sing
For us with its thrilling voice
With bodies entwined
We have much time to rejoice
