Wishing You The Best Of Luck Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Wishing You The Best Of Luck

What your needs were.
And what mine are,
Have not changed.
I am sure.

But I am determined to have mine met.
And you,
I am sure...
Still playing updated versions of hard to get.

And for someone who shouldn't...
I am wishing you the best of luck,
In finding the right psychoanalyst.
And...
You just may get one at a bargain price.

We are in a recession.
Or an unadmitted depression.
Depending on how you are looking at that cup.

Sounds like my date tonight...do you know Jim Scully and did you know the late Sandy Taylor over at Storrs? It's great to come upon your work as I sit comfortably alone this Christmas morning....
