With Livelihood Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

With Livelihood

With livelihood

Even if I want
I can't
As mind is like money
Running after crazy mentality

I want this and I want that
And such things decide our fate
We are going so deep with worldly things
And try to bring in possession

Such things bring momentary satisfaction
Enhance public prestige and strengthen relation
But mind and heart are distance apart
No one feels closeness and really remain not close parts

You are forced by compulsion
And remain always with confusion
You have no sense to shape destiny
The path does not take you to almighty

You are involved with livelihood
Even does not care about neighborhood
There is no feeling for poor
Even if he comes to your door

If you can't lift dry leaf
And remain deaf
Throughout life
The life shall always remain on edge of knife

With Livelihood
