Without Money Poem by Paula Glynn

Without Money

Rating: 5.0

The old age truth
Life without money is brutal
The world turns to stone
Where you have no love
And therefore no home
People jeer and spit
While you get bashed
And repeatedly hit
Facing the world of crime
And world of stone
Where even criminals
Offer no respite
Easy money never easy.

People pass by
In their flashy cars
While rockstars
Play their legendary guitars
Not caring you're being used
Like all the other mental abuse
Your mother put you through
Your father who blew
And family
Gone from your life
Their support through,

And no matter bus or train
Every town is the same
Where it pours and rains
Like water down the drain
And life is full of misery and pain
No matter the shopping purchases
No matter how hard you try
Always trying but to no avail
Life a game in which you fail,

The night's actions
Where you bruise and just cry
Alone in that field
Where there is no shield
To protect from the coldness
Of a world without money
For you forever feel
Alone in the world
Where your prayers are never heard
And the devil preys
On your twisted mind
The devil the only reality
Playing his evil games in a world without money
Spreading the hate
And leaving a soul destroying fate.

But maybe an angel hears every thought:
Where your pain shall come to nought
And love and compassion taught,
So release those tears to the ether
Where God waits for your soul
And angels sing their beautiful colours.

In material world life without money is brutal because if a man is in old age and he or she has no money then he or she suffers a lot. You have brilliantly observed the modern society where old aged persons are neglected. But maybe an angel hears every thought: God waits for soul to redeem when the man surrenders before him. Values and humanity matter a lot in spiritual world money does not make any sense. God is graceful. A brilliant poem is excellently penned...10
