Is there someone that you can alway trust
A who that is there when the going is tough
giving courage and seeing you through
A person who celebrates each day with you

Another half that helps you to become a hero
rather than staying in a shell as a hesitant zero
They share identity… Alter Ego is their name
Does having one as a friend mean you're insane…

Not so… I say with complete confidence
They are there to reassure without pretense
Standing by and encouraging you to try
Prompting a 'yes I can…' when you're shy
