Words Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Words

Words often become confused with meaning.
When I say I love you, I mean in the sense that I cannot live with out you.
Waiting for the repeating occurrence of again.
To taste the breath that gently slips between your lips.
Soft sighs that paint the clouds throughout the journey of my day.
In an infinite area of space. You are the focal point of where I end.
As well as where I begin.
At times words cannot make or break the hold over silence.
Moments we use to fill the space between us, the glance of eyes staring into one another.
Just as long as your near, is all that matters.
I cannot stress that enough.
The chit chat of endless moments I see visioned in my mind.
Journeying through the folds and wrinkles,
Emptying the contents of our minds into one another.
When I say I need you here.
I mean just that. I need you here.
For you give me strength
The muscle and tendons that connect throughout my body,
Continuing to reach towards the thought of you
