Words Spoken To Hear Yet Not Heard

What more can be said,
To anyone accustomed...
And undisciplined to listen.
With entitlements given,
Of free speech and closed ears.
Yet...
The first they are to appear.
Complaining in protest.
About getting no attention.
Received and given,
With respect expected.

'I keep shouting to them.
Demanding to get attention.
And they pretend,
Not to hear a word I say.'

How rude and disrespectful,
More people have shown...
They are and can be.
What more can be said,
When having...
A lack of discipline or none.
Introduced.
To know its meaning.
And the benefits of it to use.

'That ain't got nothing to do,
With listening.
Paying attention.
Or being respectful to another,
Who speaks! '

Words spoken to hear.
Yet...
Not one of them heard.

'What was that? '
