Post Vishakha the monsoon ends,
Youth and beauty on child-birth bends,
‘Pon bowing done melts saintly outrage,
Begging bowl bends robust image.

Transliteration of the subhāśhita along with the meanings of Sanskrit words is given as under:

vishākhā antā gatā meghāh, prasūtā yauvanam |
praņāma antah satām kopah, yāchanā antam hi gauravam ||

vishākhā: the constellation of vishākhā
antā: at the end of (when the sun leaves vishākhā)
gatā: gone are
meghāh: the rains
(gatā)prasūtā: (following)delivery/birth of a child
yauvanam: youth (and beauty of a woman)
praņāma antah: once bowing in respect done
satām: of saints, sages, righteous people
kopah: anger and wrath
yāchanā antam: once someone begs for money and favour
hi: indeed
gauravam: one's self respect, pride
