In the periphery of vision and excitement
nothing amazes many many eyes simultaneously more than
watching soccer being played energetically on
the Stadium at the World Cup Football Tournament.

Around the globe, in any pub, in every sport club
in any restaurant, in every home, in every street
people keep watching their television screens
shouting, cheering as goals get scored
as players keep running, tackling to get the ball
and drive it home across the goal post to score and win;
sometimes they resort to pushing and jostling innocently
sometimes they fall but know and accept that
it is as an extempore rivalry which lasts only for a few moments.

And as each team keeps winning while the other goes home losing,
exhiliration oscillates turning fascination into indulgence
as every spectator heedless of his own nationality
celebrates when the team he had predicted wins so suddenly.

Many many others out there in the audience
feel the same fervor as their eyes keep shifting constantly
when players keep moving enthusiastically;
and everyone, everywhere, whether in Alaska or in Antartica
keep watching with elation cruising through their veins
as teams keep moving into the finals
to be the winners and take home the cup of victory with glory.

Imagine World Cup Football as a religion
it engrosses so many globally
as each countrymen awaits their team to win;
imagine World Cup football as a prayer
it enthralls so many universally
as each country prays fervently for their team not to lose
such spirituality, such unity, such harmony and bonding
the magic of World Cup Football so unbelievably mesmerizing!
