when we do not protect preserve
when we do not protect preserve the natural world...

we risk
we risk destroying
we risk destroying everything...
to nurture
to nurture to heal
to nurture to heal to love...

to nurture to heal to love is everything...

suffering
suffering pain
suffering pain are part of life...

suffering pain are everywhere...

it has already been written
'love endures all risks all'
wake up love this planet...

wake up love protect this planet...

this present civilization has an imbalance
greed waste, dog eat dog attitudes
never creates a better world...

lives of struggle
when sharing
giving to others...

even in small things
small deeds
gifts of kindness...

allows moments of brief happiness...

the possibilities
when ripples
of goodwill...

spread...

appreciating
brief moments
of good will...

moments of beauty
in precious
time memory...

focusing life
around moments
of brief joy...

even though transitory
creates webs
shared memories...

instead of focusing
on purchasing
fashion trends...

tomorrows waste clutter
stopping to take time
to share...

experiences
with others
builds better memories...

the world needs a reset
can you not hear her cry
in splintered billions...

of shattered silences
as countless forests
countless animals...

even the ocean dies...

a species selfish
a species materialistic
a species exploitive...

a species that cannot love itself...

is a species that cannot love...
is a species that cannot love save...
is a species that cannot love save its own planet...
