Where does one start?
You can start at any age
Whether young or old
Myself, starting at age 62.
You can write about
Memories present, Memories past.
Or whatever!
Pick any subject
A to Z
Most important
Write from the heart!
Good advice, Darwin. Thank you for sharing. " In each of us there is a poem and a song, for most, a poem never written and a song never sung" .. Excellent quote, in a way tad melancholic. A 10+++++++++ (as I know from PH members, for the Voting, but I don't know Voting for what? For the Score? For which score? Bit funny.
Wonderful advice, Darwin! Anything we do, we should do from the heart!
That's the key. Write from the heart. Write what you know. (That's why those who know nothing write nothing. Actually, as you said in an earlier poem or a quote, everyone has a poem inside of them, but most will never be written.)
Yes Kim, I agree completely. It is my favorite quote: " In each of us there is a poem and a song, for most, a poem never written and a song never sung" .. In a way, very sad..
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
That is advice which I can learn from. You can start writing poetry at any age (I was sixty-five) , although it would be an advantage to start younger. The subject-what to write about-is what I find challenging but you make it look straightforward, 'Pick any subject/ A to Z'. You have to write straight from the heart, as you say.
