Writing: Monologue Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Let me see!
What are my thoughts today?
It is raining. —What a gloomy sky!
It could easily match with my memories,
But not today; not in the sky of my mind:
There is sunshine: such contrast of disposition…

For no particular reason:
No carefully arranged thoughts to be thought,
As choosing clothes in the morning to be worn;
No meditation to throw them away from my mind,
Like that vulnerability, heart-nakedness, helplessness
Of your being in those memories of being in love;
No imaginings, no intention by visualisation: —
No effort, at all! —What is it then?

A possible answer could be: the non-thinking;
Just feeling, and yet, I feel nothing;
Neither good nor bad: (Is there a good or bad?) :
There is none, if we do not attribute them connotations,
Symbolic divagations, mental or emotional associations.
I am a pluviophile. I exist with all that exists
In such a harmonious manner with the Nature:

I am part of it: I integrate as the eggs in the nests,
As spiders in cobwebs, the pollen in the flowers,
the larvae in the cocoons: (tacitly dreaming of butterflies
In the membrane of anticipation, and expectation) ,
As the blossom in the orange-trees, the almond-trees,
The carob-trees: I am a blossom each morning! —I blossom,
I awake to a new day, as awakening to the Spring of Life:
Re-born, ever-renewed in the amplitude of possibilities—
I am metamorphosis itself at the epicentre of my being!

O! The sound of thunder in the sky!
Awakes me with the announcement of precipitation:
To bathe my being in non-being—to become the rain,
The thunder, the grey, the moisture, the green, the rainbow:
I am the Elements of Nature! —I am Nature!
