Writing Poetry Poem by Sandra Feldman

Writing Poetry

Rating: 5.0

Writing poetry
Is, very often
An out of body
Experience,
As if some strange
Feeling,
Had taken possession
Of your unstable
Inquisitively,
Roaming
Soul and Mind.

Writing poetry,
Flashing lights
That are
The expression
Of so many
Things, at once!
Life's loves,
Desires, indiscretions
Philosophies and
Transgression,
So many inner
Expressions,
Come to life!

Wanting clarity,
Sharing anxiety
Reaching out
And above all,
Not wanting to be
Alone,
Some how, knowing
You are sharing
Feelings
And you're not
Made out of Stone!

Oh, Sandra, I somehow feel that most poets can relate to what you wrote. So true. So well-expressed!
