The below Pentamerous Senryu poem is
written with the employment of the
required 5-7-5 Syllabic adherence
of Traditional Zen Haiku poetry.
__ XXXIII Anos Domini __
Thirty-three A.D.
A Man Was Nailed To A Cross,
And In Death Gave Life.
Spoke OF Acceptance,
Which High Priests Deemed Blasphemous,
Because They Feared Him.
He Was Not Like Them,
Which Called For His Death By Cross;
Because He Refused-
To Worship As They,
And Deny His Fathers Word-
That He Be The Light.
One Hundred Scores Past,
Christian Boys Hung From Crosses;
Ice-Is on their wood.

Traditional Zen Haiku poetry beautifies mind. You have nicely and wisely expressed every Senryu. Father of heaven is light and we should worship him. Denial is thought provoking. Obeying principles of Christ is great. Amen! We should follow scriptural righteous laws. Nice sharing is done...10
