The Year 2025 is going to close
Only twenty three days are left
In this year, I have found some great friends
But, I also have lost contact with some old friends
On the new format of PH
Many found it difficult to navigate
PoemHunter's message box
Was providing a nice medium to connect
But many poets have stopped Posting,
Some are not able to log in
I wish I could see my friends' faces on my page
Or could read their messages with ease
I wish,
They should be fine and in good health
Though we are deprived of their new poems
Their poetic imprints have enriched PoemHunter
And we can still read their old poems.
I miss my old friends on this Site
Though it is too early
I wish all my friends, both new and old
A Very Happy New Year (2026.)
Merry, merry Christmas and have a blessed New Year 2026, Bharati! Your wonderful, thoughtful and touching poem resonates with me.. Indeed, there are a lot of Poet friends that are no longer here. I miss them a lot especially their inspiring and touching comments and poems
I, too, miss many old friends on this site. Some have passed away, some left of their own accord, and some would like to keep posting but have been locked out. In the old days I would get a dozen comments in minutes after posting a new poem; now the comments are very few.
I too wonder where all the old poets and poetesses have gone. It is sad that they are not still around, but I pray that they are well and enjoying their lives wherever they are. They have left their poems with us at least—which are lasting reminders of their treasured presence.
A very Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to you as well dear Mrs. Nayak! ! ! You are indeed always such a blessing to everyone on this site—your poetry is to be treasured for its skill and beauty just as your character should be treasured for its kindness and loveliness! ! ! May God bless you! ! !
I wanted to let you know that it has been such a blessing to get to know you this year! I always love to see your new poetry whenever you publish it! Thank you for your well wishes, and I pray that you are well. Have a wonderful Christmas, Ms. Nayak! Blessings!
I feel sorry for your loss: there are so many poets and poetesses that have published brilliant poetry and now are no longer publishing. It is really so sad. Just recently I lost a PH friend who used to publish such sweet poems.
Thank you, dear poetess, for this kind and thoughtful poem! What a year on PoemHunter it has been indeed!

Sometimes if I have time I visited their Poet's Page and see if they have new posts but to no avail. How I wish I could see them here again before the year ends.
