Years Are Slow
(Two Pairs of Couplets●Quatrain)


Ancient moon and sad wild goose, east hillside raining
Thin soul of the slab bridge, north island picks wind
Hidden dreams in the red dust, days are slow
Orioles sound in the canyon, thoughts of love overflow


Note:
1.) Gu Yue, Chinese movie star. His name means the ancient moon.
2) Xu Beihong, Chinese modern painter. His name means the sad wild goose.
3) Su Dongpo, a great writer, calligrapher and painter in Northern Song dynasty of China. His name means the east hillside.
4) Zheng Banqiao, a famous painter in the Qing Dynasty of China His name means the wood slab or stone slab bridge.
5) Beidao, Chinese contemporary poet. His name means the north island.

古月悲鸿，东坡飘雨
板桥瘦魄，北岛采风
红尘梦隐，日子缓缓
峡谷莺啼，情思盈盈

2）徐悲鸿，中国现代画家。他的名字意思是悲哀的大雁。
3）苏东坡，中国北宋时期的大文学家、书画家。他的名字意思是东边的山坡。
4）郑板桥，中国清代著名画家。他的名字意思是木板或是石板桥。
5）北岛，中国当代诗人。他的名字意思是北方的岛屿。
