Yes, Honey, You've Healed My Heart Poem by Hebert Logerie

Yes, Honey, You've Healed My Heart

I was near the road
Carrying a large suitcase
And some shirts
And you welcomed me.

I was very sick
You took me in your arms
You boiled tea for me
And you've healed me.

You welcomed me with happiness
Yes, honey, you've healed my heart.

Woman, your love is sealed in my heart
You are the most ravishing woman in the city
One day, you and I will live on our own island
Where I'll give you daily the most gorgeous flowers.

Your pretty smile makes me very powerful and happy
One day, I will die with your beautiful memories
With you, in my arms. According to the wishes of God
You and I still have many glorious days to enjoy.

Yes, honey, you've healed my heart
You welcomed me with happiness.
