You Poem by JoAnn McGrath

You

Rating: 5.0

You are not the same
You changed your name
and changed the game
You rewrote the set

Teary eyed I see
the shed of blood to thee
and working hands decree
Tears, blood and sweat

Your neighbors won
For your deeds done
The forgiven son
The one I won't forget

By the grace of God
He'll give a nod
You'll leave the sod
I'm happy you I met

Lot of emotion beautifully put forth in here JoJo, with an uplifted ending....Reminding me that sometimes [well no, most times] we have to let go of one we thought cared and just hold the memories and memories can help] This makes me think abit of the Passion with Easter a few days off. well done, as usual.........marci. :) xo
