You And Me Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

You And Me

You and me both know why,
Where, when and how...
We got to be no longer us.
To have no one else,
Knowing that any better.
Or have it called anything,
They think it to be.
For reasons they want wished.
That would be distant,
From what isn't their business.
