I love it how you are speaking to the missing one and telling him how you have explained to the young child that he will not be around close at hand anymore, but instead will be watching over him from a star. Very profound and well chosen words.

This is a very sad and touching work, Sandra. The rhyming is very gentle.

There is a say - 'Have constructive thoughts, consoling words, compassionate acts.” You deserve full points on this poem for all those in above. Your words sprinkle the ray of light in the dark hour of sorrow. Good write. Good heart. Thank you.

You show such empathy Sandra. I really admire how you tune in to the pain of another soul, and pick up what I consider to be the total sense of loss and the anger stage of grief. 10/10 for your sensitivity and caring.... Karin Anderson

You have achieved wonderful rapport with your colleague's sorrow. This poem must be a solace to her. A very poignant expression of grief. Your last lines are especially beautiful. Kind regards, Sandra
