You are my sunshine
An angel, so divine
You begin my day
God's blessings you pray
You are my Solitary Rose
Leading me, to God's purpose
You are my heartbeat
When awake or sleep
You are my very breath
My second nature: blessed
You are my life's reason
In your arms, imprisoned
When spirit within was dying
You spelt reasons for living
You made me dream again
When life routinely waned
You are my God-sent love
Thanksgiving to God above
May your life be richly blessed
May God's love on you rest

I'm by your side
My love forever abide
