You seem to be tired of me

Walking away from me when

I come to meet you in the morn

Hide your face behind the veil

Lips are tight and eyes are dull

Between you and me love is gone



You seem to be tired of me

You don't come to the door

When from work I do return

You do not hum a song for me

Do not feel sad in my absence

And don't dry hair under the sun



You seem to be tired of me

You have lost your slow gait

When you come to the garden

Roses remain untended for days

Birds are not fed at the rooftop

It seems I cease to be your man
