You Break It, You Bought It Poem by Raj Dronamraju

You Break It, You Bought It

And I wrecked it
Walked away leaving it mangled against a tree
I didn't thank anyone
In my mind this was a heroic act

You beautiful disaster
I'm not the type of person you would have wasted your wholesome years with
And I dropped it
Looked for the nearest excuse and let both hands go
The curmudgeons of glee
Tee hee hee in the corner

And I tore it up
The mailman came and went
Sweet carnival flirt
Everyone's wiped their dirty parts on you
Get thee gone and I'll stay right here

Malicious fox spirit
Filled with vile mischief
Feminine, so hard to recognize
And it fell to pieces in my hands
You break it, you bought it

Crash, break, smash
And I understood it
Big green onomatopoeia eyes
Don't go away mad
Just remember this fragility
Careful! , Careful!
