You don't know what I am
Missing in this lonely den
Where the air is musty and stale
And my heart is always in pain

You don't know the pain I
Am going through at this time
When the wind is singing with
The trees many a romantic rhyme

You don't know how much
I long to see you in my dream
How much I miss your smiles
When I go to sit by the stream

You don't know how deep is
My love and its sweet essence
It is deeper than the sea and fresh
As a flower blooming in the fence
