You Endeavour We See Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Oh dear brother, everyday you endeavour
We see while we walk near your road,
You work hard for study and get degrees,
Having degrees you get very good job.

Due to your hard work you get success,
Getting very high package of salary,
You live happily travelling abroad,
With your family you visit new places.

Everywhere you see rivers and mountains,
Forest and sea and land, sand, soil and water,
Nature has decorated them in beautiful ways
Still many places remain unvisited in lifetime.

In this material world you are busy for joy
For this material body that grasps comfort.
But be aware at time and do perseverance,
You are in eternal journey, you do not forget.

For bodily comfort you have given much time,
At least you give little to spiritual development,
Leaving this in automatic mode is so sad,
Every matter and body gained you will leave here.

Be aware and know all material relationships,
These are very temporary and in separation painful,
After you will come out of body, nobody will help you
Alone, without taking anything, you will have your journey.

Awaken self and see light of wisdom is living within,
Have trust in God and very much develop spiritually,
A moment missed here in present birth is a very big loss,
Every breath you give spiritually, live with God ever.
