You Have Done Me A Favor Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

You Have Done Me A Favor

If you think it dismissed.
It will still be here and available.
What I've got to give,
Stays fresh.
Whoever accepts or rejects it.

It you think it dismissed.
Go and leave it just where it is.
What I have is mine to give.
And it ain't here waiting for you.

Every breath I get to breathe.
It is done independently.
And my wants and needs.
I know how to get them pleased,
Without you.

If you think it dismissed.
It's still is here and available.
To stay fresh.
Whoever accepts or rejects it.
It's mine to give.
And ain't here waiting for you.

Every breath I get to breathe.
Is done independently.
And all my wants and needs.
I know how to get them pleased.
Without you.

Soooo,
Just to let you know...
I don't want anything that sits.
Around me wicked.
I don't want anything that sits.
Around me mean.
No!
I don't want anything that sits.
Around me wicked.
I don't want anything that sits.
Around me mean.

You have done me a favor.
When you split.
You have done me a favor.
To get over it.
You have done me a favor.
And I admit,
So glad I am you did it quick!
