You Never Give Up



You never give up on me
You keep me cocooned in an embrace of love
Warmed by your caress of kindness
Nurtured under your spell
I open my heart and mind to accept your beauty
And you never fail me
You inject the moon and stars with your brightness
You keep a steady flow of wonder flying in my direction
I look up and thank you for the gift
That is life
