You Really Frustrate Me: Part Ii - Poem by Charles Tomar

I want to forget about you
I know you want me to too
I love being your friend don’t get me wrong
We have always done well to get along

I want to stay your friend
But not till the end
Maybe to forget about you I need one chance

One chance at romance
You really frustrate me
Why can’t you give me one try
I guess you don’t see anything in me
I’m just not your guy

But that’s what makes me mad
I know you don’t want me sad
But you don’t feel me
The way I feel you unfortunately

And that’s ok, I understand
Just some days I want to hold your hand
Is that so bad?
Is that so sad?

But as I sit here running out of rhymes
I realize, ya know life really sucks sometimes…
