Your Beauty Poem by Gerald Opio

Your Beauty

Your beauty elates me,
altering the pulse of my heart.
My body reverberates -
with my heartbeat throbing fast.
Yielding a rhythmic beat.

Your beauty dilates my eye pupils.
My eyes glisten at your vicinity.
Exuding an euphoric moment.
That will never elude my mind.

Your beauty worth reliving.
Has seized my mind,
held it in captivity.
Rewinding in my memory,
like a disk on repeat.

Your beauty irrebukable,
incomparably enchanting
and enthralling for the eyes.
Bringing forth pleasant emotions,
that I loathe to abreact.

Your beauty oftenly surfaces,
in all the days of my life.
When the sun shines bright,
your beauty I reflect in my mind.
Elusive are the thoughts of your comeliness.
Living rent-free in my mind.

The seizure of your beauty,
so incomprehensible.
Futile are the efforts to break loose.
Within its confines I dwell,
for no one knows till when.
