Every strand of your hair shines your ties of affection.
Which strand holds morning love, which one evening love?
Which strand covers blushes from your quick lovely glance?
Which strand holds your first passionate love?
Which strand shelters you from sun rays, which from rain showers?
Which strand gathers winds to fly your love as high as a kite?
Which strand basks in the afternoon sunshine?
Which strand covers our pillows with many sweet dreams?
Which strand folds in your love perfume?
Which strand that you caress while waiting for me?
Which strand is for work challenge?
Which strand is for cooking and regular housework?

Thương anh, Mai để tóc dài
Sợi dài, sợi ngắn, sợi đầy yêu thương.
Sợi nào cũng óng tơ vương
Sợi nào yêu sáng, sợi thương buổi chiều?
Sợi nào che thẹn liếc tình
Sợi nào giữ mãi tình si ban đầu?
Sợi nào che nắng, che mưa
Sợi nào ôm gío, tình cao như diều?
Sợi nào hong nắng buổi chiều
Sợi nào trải gối với nhiều mộng mơ?
Sợi nào gói ghém tình thơm
Sợi nào em vuốt khi chờ đợi anh?
Sợi nào mưu kế sinh nhai
