You're A Real Pain, You Know That Poem by Kewayne Wadley

You're A Real Pain, You Know That

There is a pain in my neck,
One that prevents me
from turning my head.
I went to sleep just fine,
But waking up, I wish it would go
Away.
It always happens
when I least
Expect it.

At times, I feel like someone
Is playing a cruel joke on me.
Like you're playing a cruel joke on me,
Creeping over when I am
Asleep, and tying a knot in my neck.
I can see you leaning in,
Inspecting everything,
Smiling as sweet as you can,
Then remembering something I've
done.

If this is your get back, then,
Well played. With your sinister grin.
Knowing that I cannot freely
Chase you around.
Even in pain,
Your lips are my remedy.
I guess I will go with you
To do that thing after all
