Yr Return (For. Carmel Azzopardi) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Yr Return (For. Carmel Azzopardi)

Rating: 5.0

I thought of yr last words you had spoken to me
Yr eyes looking with a blank stare
Telling meyou won't be coming home
When you closed them
I knew my life would change for the worse
Yr absence shadows my present
As I sit in the dark, hoping you return
I wait.....until the pain in my heart subsides
Remembering us in the beauty of love
