Like an accountant looking over the books
Sometimes searching to find some discretion or crooks,
But, I'm the exe taping my feet as I think
Then unto my own destiny, I give it a nod and a wink.

Lord, when will I find my soulmate
I'm impatient and I just can't wait,
I have looked and looked for many countless years
And all that I found was betrayal and tears.

I want to fall in love like my father and mother
And also like my sisters and my bother,
Love and then marriage was their destined way
Then I think to myself, "maybe someday".

I turn the page
And I felt rage,
I read a few more lines
Then I saw signs.

She's the one that did inspire
She's the one that sat my soul on fire,
Because of her I wake up the way as I do
Because she's the one that said, "I hate you".

What if you don't wake up tomorrow
How would you sleep tonight,
Would your soul be full of sorrow
Would your mind be full of fright.

It's not Gods fault
I hope those blasphemous lies would halt,
It's not God's intention with a gun for man to kill
It's, the Devil and man's free will.

For our children we are banning books
So, they don't read about bad words or crooks,
We're banning them so they're out of our children's reach
And about them in school teachers can't teach.

He showed me the stitches on his forehead
He then told me how profusely he had bled,
And when the nurse was giving him his stitches
All that he thought about was the itches.

She was a terrible wife for sure
Upon any land or upon any shore,
She did what a wife should never do
Being a good wife she never had the first clue.
