& through this place of

yes is a world
& in this world of

This poem is so amazing! It pulled me in like a magnet. EE Cummings was an amazing poet. His use of metaphor is so different than in any other poetry I have ever read.

a good poem a clever poem
but love is much more (i really know)
it may be a place a space a face
with two faces its placed at best
& please dont think i criticize ee
for hehe is a free free spirited poet
who can take the small est of smalls
like taking rust out of the lust for love

Just reading the poem once -though it is so short, pulls me to read it again, and then again. The initial image I got was of a spiral shell, drawing one in to follow it- to decifer what is cummings saying.

Wow- who would have thought that love could be a place- maybe it is a space within which you just love. So it is not just a state of mind of 1 person- it can be the whole interior of that person, is in that place, where Love is.

I need to read the poem again. Labyrinth- the path you walk to achieve this place of love. Yes- means an opening up of the whole person, maybe changing your own point of view - a shift of your own paradigm. Until, there- new worlds open, all keyed by one thing -Love.

This poem is amazing - so rich, It reminds me of maybe a book cover- one person poised on the edge of Shangr-La-looking at immense beauty. I could say more, but you might think I'm on drugs, which I'm not- this is such a rich poem.
