Common People (Wrath)
Wrath of the common people
Besieges them while they know not
Greed and trappings of power galore
Consumed and squandered dignity abound
Inequity of ways charges their downfall
And when their misdemeanour daylights on them
Prospects narrowed, common sense rekindled
Hung in shame like beaten look of a mischievous child
Fair seeming suspicious deeds might be for a while
But truth is all conquering
Justice abreast truth restores faith of the common people
Indeed checks and balance for societal values
Like a cloud pledged to ...
