Im nothing special! I write poetry as a way of expressing my feelings at the time (if i didn't i would crack up) we all have a different way of dealing with our emotions mine as you can see is done as a poem. I was in a violent marriage for 22yrs and yes im now free from that, i dont doubt that many more women are in the situation that i was in but believe me and trust me when i say there is a way out and there is a light at the end of the tunnel i know i found it! I also know that just as many men are abused by thier partners and there is as much hope and help for you out there you just have to have the courage to speak out against it. Dont waste your life being a victim as i did YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! ! ! ! ! ! ! !)

America Lost

America Lost

An eye for an eye
Twin towers lost the skyline is gone
Local aircraft used like flying bombs


The shock and anger will it subside?
As the towers with the streets collide
Dust and debris flying around
“Hush please” trying to hear voices and sound
People are trapped can we find them alive?
Buildings cover them can they survive?
Mobile phones calling “help me please”
People digging anguish to ease
Live are lost now can we ease the pain?
Retaliation wanted will it start it again?
