The Bounty Of The Weary Mind
Once again, he awaits the bottled message,
In this tempestuous sea of tedium,
Where the only sound is the rythmic beating of the doledrums.
And sea rovers scour the depths
Of their mind for a chest of creativity,
Long hidden by the timekeeper,
Who allows hours to drip by with no need to think.
The shores of the free are but a distant memory,
And wrists are sore with the shackles kiss.
The lonesome passenger of life sails in circles,
For anchors are no use when your slowly sinking,
He refuses the rope from Ahab
Still in search of his prize, ...
