Who Am I?

I am from the black spot in the corner,
Growling as you pass.
I am from the stream of moonlight that you look at
Through the window of glass.

Groaning for the darkness
and the absence of light,
You see me coming
and you try to fight.

“Who are you? ” you ask,
As I prowl around, waiting to reveal
My death mask.
The fear is taking its toll,
As it pulls you down
Its dark, black hole.

As I continue to break through,
You answer your own question,
I am the fear inside of you.
