Blue Moon

The Moon followed me home tonight
Ere I made a left or right
He wouldn’t look me in the eye
Instead he stared across the sky

Then I finally heard his voice
And in the words was no rejoice
When will all you people learn
Your planet’s not just your concern

You see I orbit every day
And have to watch the earth decay
Destroy the ozone without a care
Cut down your trees till you are bare

Heaps of trash has filled the land
Icebergs melt into the sand
Pollute your oceans and your streams
Kill all the fish and children’s dreams
