Descartian Dreams

In my dreams
I am free as a madman
And I can be tricked by my dreams
Into believing we are not apart

On Memories Of Sara

I treasure my memories of you
Like reading poetry and watching you paint
Or the best sex ever made me nearly faint

On Hope

I sit and wait, trying to grasp
The future rushing towards me
Like blurred images through
The windows of a train.

The Other Side

Lead me through the iron gate.
Gently part the thornbush climbing there.
Take my hand and pull me to my fate.
I cannot resist, I never could

In the perfect year, if I was offered one more chance,
I would earn your trust; make you feel happy and safe.
I would learn to feel I deserve your love, and enhance,
To focus on people and time, to listen and be brave
