Her Essence

Her heart beats rapidly, like a drumbeat pounding,
Tension grips the air amidst the calm surrounding.
Push, push and push the anxiety escalates!
Confusion turned to silence, the excitement waits.

Time necessitates piercing her fragile womb wide.
Vulnerable and helpless while restless inside.
Cold yet warm, still mesmerized in disbelief.
Flashes of light glistened as it sighed for relief.

The cry of innocence resonated loudly,
Thankful, contented but tired, she rests placidly.
Agonizing pain well-endured, bore fruit at last.
