sitting in my room one day
and you know those kind of days
nothing to do- all alone
suddenly it came to me
why not go and travel?
my parents weren't home so I didn't ask
and when I was in Rome I noticed I forgot my toothbrush

Standing there in sunny Rome without toobrush and permission
I realized I don't even speak Italian
A pidgeon dropped on me what she had yesterday
so I decided anyways this isn't a good place to stay

Standing now in Egypt here and looking at the desert
I realized I don't like sand in my shoes
a group of hundred men showed up...
