Ice Is At It's Coldest...
Ice is at it's coldest
when it's sitting in the sun.
Time is at it's slowest
when you have nowhere to run.
I don't know, but I've been told
the centuries will find you.
Then the memories rush in
and leave crushed dreams behind you.
Hopes are only something good
when knowledge isn't known.
Knowing things will wear you down
like wind wears down the stone.
Nothing is forever
only everlasting light,
until the light just leaves us left
in dark eternal night.
Blindness can be comfort,
for there's things you never see.
