Love Without An Overcoat
Fighting like a cat and a dog,
Ending up wounded and injured and lost.
Still I long for his touch and smiles,
Every time I decide to stop and let go.
Sometimes he knows, mostly he don't.
I doubt too much but intuition bother.
What if he did, what if he does,
What if his heart strays to another?
I'm happy he's here despite the trouble
And mistakes in the past that makes it double.
Still I love his whining and anger,
For he proves to all that he's my lover.
