She

She looked a mere simple girl
Oh no, there's more to observe
Her hands carry bags of fur;
Grievances that used to love

I tried to greet her when we met
But she shook her head and went
And I'd always smell the same old pistol
Then a whiff of some morbid scent

She seldom returns late at night
And when she does, I hear screeches
The neighbours seemed never to notice
The existence of her weirdness

Ever since the burglar came
And hauled great findings from her house,
The police came and took them both away
And I never got to glimpse of her ...
