Comments about James Affholder
This poem was written by my father who passed away in 1990. We found it among his things, never knowing he wrote poetry. What a nice surprise.
There's a little guy at the end of the hall
He's lying there, lonely, just waiting God's call
Won't you stop in a minute and give him a smile
There's not much time left...only a while
He's a good little guy and as sick as can be
Just a matter of time till God's face he will see
He's never been rich and he's often been poor
But his love for our Savior couldn't be more
And there are hoards of treasure and pleasure ...
