To Be Held
Lips so soft, tenderly tracing soft skin on her face,
her neck, her shoulder blades, collar bone.
He cups her angelic face with his callused hands
To look into her dark brown eyes.
They lock, and there is a deep connection.
No words have to be spoken.
He grabs her suddenly, kissing her with all his might
Sending her stomach into a whirl of butterflies
She wraps her arms around him
And lets him hold her, hoping he’ll never let go.
