The Mask

The mask that can't see
Looks up and stares at me
And as I look back in to its eyes
I know it can see past my lies
I grab it and throw it away
I don't want to deal with it to day
But when I try to go out the door
I run and pick it off the floor
Because in this world I need it to fit
I would be an outcast without it
I use it to trap part of my soul
But I know I can never be whole
Then I feel my blue flamed hate
I will not let this thing control my fate
