The Kite In The Chaos
The kite in the chaos
Of the old dark night,
Was confused and bemused
As it pondered its flight,
Angry gathering clouds,
Surrounded like shrouds,
Threatening his lease on life,
Lightening jabbing like a knife.
The wind by fortune,
Blew him higher and higher,
In his silky attire.
Grace pulled him up,
Soaring above the storm.
He looked far below
From were he came,
Such a short time ago.
Just then he could feel,
The sun upon his face.
