    It was such a great discovery for me when 2 or 3 years before I suddenly found this greatest writers work..... All my life I have spent in books, read this work, that work... But Khalil Gibran, s works gave me wings to fly.... You read him and you find yourself... You read him and you understand that really GOD blessed this world, if there is ones, as Khalil Gibran... Who MIT feet so deep, whose words can make you a real part of this world... Greatest poet, greatest humanist, greatest man....

    Khalil Gibran was a very serious seeker of Truth. He reaped what he sowed in Truth through inspiration and wisdom. He is quoted heavily in a book at truthcontest.com called The Present, as well as in the 'Insights' section. I highly suggest you all visit that website. There is much to learn

Where are you, my beloved? Are you in that little
Paradise, watering the flowers who look upon you
As infants look upon the breast of their mothers?


Or are you in your chamber where the shrine of
Virtue has been placed in your honor, and upon
Which you offer my heart and soul as sacrifice?


Or amongst the books, seeking human knowledge,
While you are replete with heavenly wisdom?


Oh companion of my soul, where are you? Are you

And one of the elders of the city said, "Speak to us of Good and Evil."

And he answered:

Of the good in you I can speak, but not of the evil.

For what is evil but good tortured by its own hunger and thirst?

Verily when good is hungry it seeks food even in dark caves, and when it thirsts, it drinks even of dead waters.
